Adding to its inherent versatility, PaperStone products come in 3 series, which feature different levels and ingredients in the spectrum of sustainable surfaces. The Original series is made from 100% post-consumer recycled cardboard. A step above is the Certified series, which is made from 100% FSC certified post-consumer office paper. And the final and newest series of PaperStone is the Virgin series, made completely of virgin fibers. These ingredients, added with the phenolic resin, create a surface that is highly abrasion resistant, with superior tensile, compression, impact and flexural strengths.
In addition, the aesthetic appeal of PaperStone is immediate, with natural earth-tone colors that are soft to the touch and offer warm, distinctive ambiance to any room. PaperStone products feature excellent color stability, and resist the effects of exposure to UV rays. The Original series features 5 natural colors, including cabernet, denim, evergreen, mocha and slate. The Certified series features darker, cooler natural tones, with colors like chocolate, gunmetal, grass, indigo, obsidian and plum. The Virgin series is currently available solely in the color leather, a soft brown that compliments several colors. This exceptional product requires a clean fiber source to maintain its subtle and delicate color and texture.
